The HL-IFC-2E1BD1C Industrial Multi-Service Converter is a high-reliability optical transmission solution engineered for mission-critical industrial application. The architecture supports converged data transmission, seamlessly routing Ethernet, serial communications, and data signals over a single fiber link. It features extreme resistance to chemical corrosion and severe electromagnetic interference (EMI). This makes it ideal for petrochemical plants, smart grids, and coastal infrastructure. Pure hardware digital processing guarantees perfectly synchronized data flow across point-to-point or point-to-multipoint networks.

Technical Protocols & Advanced Isolation

Every serial interface on the HL-IFC-2E1BD1C Industrial Multi-Service Converter natively supports RS-232, RS-422, and RS-485 protocols with automatic signal rate detection up to 256 KBPS. The hardware provides an exceptional 2500V effective isolation for RS-485/422 links to block current impacts and dangerous ground loops. Peak protection metrics include a 4KV insulation voltage and a massive instantaneous peak voltage threshold up to 560KV. The wide-range DC 12V to 52V main power input includes anti-reverse connection protection and complies with strict CISPR32/EN55032 CLASS A EMC standards (Technical ... p. 1). Furthermore, the system incorporates 1500W surge protection alongside 15KV electrostatic discharge (ESD) protection.

Long-Distance Optics & Field Deployment

The HL-IFC-2E1BD1C Industrial Multi-Service Converter offers versatile fiber configuration options for rugged, long-distance reach. It spans up to 5 KM over dual-fiber multi-mode networks and 20 KM over standard single-mode links. Long-haul configurations can be factory-customized to bridge transmission distances up to 120 KM. This plug-and-play solution requires no complex software settings or manual debugging for signal detection. The rugged enclosure supports standard DIN-rail compatibility for rapid, secure deployment inside industrial control cabinets.
