The 8K HDMI & USB over HDBaseT Extender is HDMI 2.1 and HDCP 2.3 compliant, supporting a massive video bandwidth of up to 40Gbps. It delivers stunning visual quality with resolutions up to 8K@30Hz or 4K@120Hz. For an immersive audio experience, the system supports high-bitrate formats like Dolby Atmos and DTS-HD Master Audio, and it features eARC/ARC support to simplify audio return from a display back to a sound system.
Long-Distance Transmission and Connectivity
This extender kit allows for the transmission of uncompressed HD/UHD signals over a single CAT 6A/7 cable at distances reaching up to 90m (295ft). Beyond high-resolution video, the 8K HDMI & USB over HDBaseT Extender facilitates bi-directional IR, RS-232 control, and 1GbE Ethernet pass-through. It also includes a 24V Power over Cable (POC) function, meaning only one unit needs to be connected to a power supply to provide power to both the transmitter and receiver.
Flexible USB 2.0 and Device Management
Equipped with versatile data handling, the 8K HDMI & USB over HDBaseT Extender supports USB 2.0 transmission with speeds up to 350Mbps. The units feature configurable Host and Device modes via a physical toggle switch, allowing users to choose whether the USB host (such as a PC) is located at the transmitter or receiver end. Additionally, integrated EDID management and HDMI re-clocking on the receiver help resolve common handshake and compatibility issues.
