Description
High-Density Unidirectional Audio Distribution
The HL-8RA Audio Fiber Converter is an industrial-grade fiber optic transmission system engineered to extend 8 channels of forward, unbalanced analog audio. It utilizes advanced FPGA-based digital coding and clock recovery technology to establish a stable, high-fidelity audio link. This unidirectional system is ideal for high-density applications including professional AV distribution, multi-room commercial audio, and security monitoring environments. By transmitting signals digitally over long distances, the system delivers zero-latency performance while maintaining a wide dynamic range.
Professional Audio Performance & Interface Spec
Every input channel on the HL-8RA Audio Fiber Converter uses a standard RCA interface configured for stereo single-ended connections. Internally, the processing architecture supports up to a 24-bit serial output resolution and a 12.288 MHz master clock. It handles a 48 kHz basic sampling rate, which scales up to 96 kHz in High-Rate Mode across a 10 Hz to 20 kHz frequency response. This hardware arrangement guarantees high linearity and low harmonic distortion while providing complete protection against electromagnetic interference (EMI) and ground loops.
Optical Transmission Distance & Hardware Deployment
The HL-8RA Audio Fiber Converter features native dual-mode compatibility to accommodate varied optical infrastructure deployment needs. It achieves transmission distances up to 1 KM over multi-mode fiber and a default 20 KM over single-mode links, customizable up to 100 KM. The plug-and-play hardware architecture features integrated LED diagnostics for real-time status monitoring without needing complex software configurations. Operational deployment requires a matched transmitter (TX) unit at the audio source and a receiver (RX) unit at the destination mixer or speakers.
