A standout feature is its dual-mode operation, allowing users to switch instantly between asynchronous playback from local storage and synchronous real-time display via its HDMI 1.3 input, which supports automatic video scaling to fit the screen.
Superior Loading Capacity and 4K Decoding
This controller offers an impressive loading capacity of up to 1,300,000 pixels, doubling the capacity of the entry-level TB30. It supports flexible resolution configurations with a maximum width and height of 4096 pixels, making it suitable for wide or tall custom LED walls. The TB40 is highly efficient at media handling, supporting hardware decoding for H.265 4K videos at 60Hz and the simultaneous playback of multiple streams, such as two 1080p or four 720p videos.
Comprehensive Connectivity and Smart Management
Connectivity is a core strength of the TB40, featuring dual Gigabit Ethernet outputs that can be configured for primary and backup redundancy to ensure display stability. It supports simultaneous Wi-Fi AP and STA modes, enabling the device to connect to a local network while broadcasting its own hotspot for direct mobile control via the ViPlex Handy app. For remote installations, the TB40 includes a SIM card slot for optional 4G/5G modules and two sensor ports for automatic brightness and environmental monitoring, all manageable through NovaStar's VNNOX cloud platform.
