Description
Advanced Synchronous and Asynchronous Dual-Mode
The NovaStar Taurus TB2-4G is a professional second-generation multimedia player that distinguishes itself with dual-mode functionality, allowing for both synchronous and asynchronous playback. In asynchronous mode, it functions as a standalone media player using its internal storage, while synchronous mode enables real-time display from an external source via its HDMI 1.3 input. Users can manually switch between these modes or schedule changes to suit different advertising needs, with the device supporting full-screen adaptive scaling for external video sources.
Robust Performance and High Loading Capacity
Equipped with a powerful quad-core 1.2 GHz processor and 1GB of RAM, the TB2-4G delivers smooth hardware decoding for 1080p high-definition video. It features a substantial loading capacity of up to 650,000 pixels, supporting maximum resolutions of 1920x1080, making it an ideal choice for larger or more complex retail and commercial LED displays. The unit includes 32GB of internal storage (with 28GB typically available for user content), ensuring ample space for high-resolution media and intricate animations.
Versatile Connectivity and Smart Control
This controller offers comprehensive networking options, including a Gigabit Ethernet port, built-in Wi-Fi AP/STA modes, and support for an optional 4G module (sold separately, such as the EG25) for remote internet access. It is designed for seamless integration with NovaStar’s cloud-based management platform, VNNOX, as well as the ViPlex mobile and PC software suite for remote monitoring and cluster management. Additionally, it features smart functions like an onboard brightness sensor interface for automatic luminance adjustment, making it highly efficient for "smart city" projects and outdoor advertising.
