Description
Professional Audio Transport Overview
The HL-8XA Forward XLR Balanced Audio Fiber Extender is a professional high-density fiber optic transport system. It is engineered for the forward transmission of 8 independent channels of analog balanced audio. Built on a robust FPGA digital platform, it provides broadcast-standard distribution with exceptional stability. The architecture delivers high integration via FC fiber connectors to satisfy critical studio and live sound needs. It is perfect for large-scale TV broadcasting, stage performances, and stadium sound systems.
Technical Performance & Intelligent Noise Management
Every input on the HL-8XA Forward XLR Balanced Audio Fiber Extender uses an XLR Cannon balanced interface. The hardware boasts a high dynamic range of 100dB and a signal-to-noise ratio over 100dB. It utilizes automatic high-pass filtering to isolate DC offset and preserve signal purity. An intelligent noise control system manages soft rising and falling waves to prevent audio blasts. Furthermore, level 3 lightning protection guards all audio interfaces against 6KV differential mode surges.
Optical Reach & Field Deployment
The HL-8XA Forward XLR Balanced Audio Fiber Extender provides versatile transmission over single-mode and multi-mode fiber links. It covers 1 KM on multi-mode lines and 20 KM on standard single-mode setups. The plug-and-play architecture operates cleanly as a hardware-based system without any software installation. Real-time LED status indicators monitor power, fiber links, and audio signals directly on the chassis. Units deploy strictly as a matched pair containing one transmitter and one receiver.
