The VX400 is NovaStar's premier Video Controller that seamlessly integrates high-quality video processing and sending card functions into a single hardware unit. It is designed to handle demanding visual requirements, supporting a massive loading capacity of up to 2.6 million pixels per unit. With the ability to drive ultra-wide and ultra-high LED screens up to 10,240 pixels in width or 8,192 pixels in height, it provides a versatile solution for stage control systems and fine-pitch displays.
Advanced Image Management and Layering
As a sophisticated Video Controller, the device features Super View III image quality processing technology to provide stepless output scaling and pixel-level brightness and chroma calibration. It supports a dual-layer display architecture where users can freely adjust the size, position, and priority of the main and PIP layers. To further enhance visual performance, the controller offers a low-latency mode that can reduce input-to-receiving-card delay to just 20 lines, ensuring real-time responsiveness for critical applications.
Diverse Connectivity and Operational Modes
This Video Controller is equipped with a wide array of professional input connectors, including HDMI 1.3, DVI, and 3G-SDI, alongside a self-adaptive optical fiber port that can function as either an input or output. Beyond its primary role, the device can be switched into "Fiber Converter" or "Bypass" modes to suit different networking architectures. For larger projects, it supports cascading up to four units for image mosaic, all of which can be managed through the front-panel controls or NovaStar's dedicated V-Can and NovaLCT software.
