Description
High-Performance Processing and Display Architecture
The Video Splicing Processor is a powerful device built on an FPGA platform, designed to deliver professional-grade image processing for complex display systems. It supports a wide range of input sources that can be scaled, overlapped, and seamlessly spliced together to create a unified, high-resolution picture across a display system composed of up to four screens. Its advanced architecture allows for a variety of screen structures, supporting layouts from simple configurations up to or arrays.
Versatile System Modes and Window Management
As a flexible Video Splicing Processor, the J6 offers two primary operational modes: "Splicer" and "Switcher," which are managed via the smart V-Can control software. In Splicer mode, users can add up to six independent windows, with full control over their size, position, and display priority, allowing for intricate multi-layered content arrangements. The processor ensures professional visual transitions by supporting effects such as fade and cut, alongside advanced features like input cropping and customizable border settings for each window.
Comprehensive Connectivity and Control
This Video Splicing Processor is equipped with an extensive array of physical interfaces to accommodate diverse professional needs, including DualLink DVI, HDMI 1.4, DP 1.1, and 3G-SDI inputs. For large-scale projects, it supports cascading multiple units via USB and Genlock synchronization to drive screens with resolutions beyond the capacity of a single controller. Users can manage the system through a user-friendly front panel featuring an LCD screen and dedicated function buttons, or remotely via Ethernet and USB-Type B control interfaces.
