Long-Distance HDBaseT Transmission
The NovaStar H Series 4x HDBaseT Output Card is a high-performance module designed to transmit high-definition video and control signals over long distances using standard Category cable (Cat5e/6/7). By utilizing HDBaseT technology, this card can send uncompressed video up to 100 meters without the signal degradation typically found in traditional HDMI cabling. This makes it an ideal output module for corporate boardrooms, classrooms, and large venues where the video wall controller is located far from the display screens.
Unified Signal and Control
Each of the four ports on this HDBaseT output card supports resolutions up to 1920×1080@60Hz or 4K@30Hz, depending on the specific HDBaseT version and cable quality. A key advantage of this card is its ability to provide 5Play support, which converges uncompressed full HD digital video, audio, 100BaseT Ethernet, and various control signals (such as RS-232 and IR) over a single cable. This significantly simplifies AV integration by reducing the amount of infrastructure required to manage your input source content at the remote end.
