The NovaStar H Series 4x DVI Output Card is a modular expansion component engineered specifically for NovaStar's flagship H Series Video Wall Splicers including the H2, H5, H9, and H15 chassis models. It easily slides into a dedicated output slot on the rear panel, expanding the hardware architecture to handle multi-display layouts without sacrificing chassis real estate. Equipped with four status LEDs, the card allows technicians to instantly verify connection validity and operational stability directly on the hardware.
High-Resolution Processing Modes
The NovaStar H Series 4x DVI Output Card offers dual operating configurations to support complex pixel layouts across modern LED setups. In single-link mode, all four DVI connectors operate independently, with each interface pushing a maximum output resolution of 2048 x 1152 at 60 Hz. Switching to dual-link mode activates an ultra-high-resolution configuration, combining resources so that connectors 1 and 3 replicate their outputs to connectors 2 and 4. This dual-link setup successfully supports video signals up to 4096 x 2160 at 30 Hz or 3840 x 1080 at 60 Hz per path.
Professional Color and Sampling Control
The NovaStar H Series 4x DVI Output Card provides broadcast-grade signal fidelity through versatile chroma subsampling and bit-depth control. It maintains complete custom EDID management to ensure smooth scaling and sync stability across non-standard screen dimensions. For standard applications, the card outputs rich 8-bit color depths across RGB 4:4:4, YCbCr 4:4:4, and YCbCr 4:2:2 sampling rates. When flawless gradient transitions are required for high-end production environments, it delivers native 10-bit YCbCr 4:4:4 output, rendering deeper colors while eliminating visible artifact banding on large displays.
