Description

Ultra-HD Processing Architecture

The NovaStar H Series 1x HDMI2.0 Output Card is a professional-grade modular expansion board engineered specifically for the H Series H2, H5, H9, and H15 Video Wall Splicers. This card occupies a single hardware slot on the rear chassis panel and expands system connectivity by featuring two physical HDMI 2.0 connectors. Crucially, the hardware operates in a specialized point-to-point copy configuration, where the secondary HDMI port serves as a native, duplicated loop-out of the primary signal. Dual front-facing LED indicators are built directly onto the faceplate to give system operators instant visual confirmation of active link validity and port health.

High-Bandwidth Pixel Management

The NovaStar H Series 1x HDMI2.0 Output Card unleashes standard Ultra-HD capabilities, driving pixel-perfect output resolutions up to 4096 × 2160 at 60 Hz over a high-speed pipeline. Designed with ultimate configuration flexibility in mind, the card features robust custom EDID management to bypass traditional screen dimension limitations. Engineers can define specialized wide-format or high-aspect canvas layouts, accommodating custom extreme resolutions up to 8192 × 1146 at 60 Hz or vertical stripe layouts reaching 1092 × 7680 at 60 Hz. This makes the module an ideal hardware bridge for connecting high-end media servers directly to extensive fine-pitch LED display walls.

Broadcast-Grade Color Spaces

The NovaStar H Series 1x HDMI2.0 Output Card guarantees uncompromised image accuracy across multi-screen commercial configurations and live production environments. It offers broad signal transmission flexibility by natively outputting RGB 4:4:4, YCbCr 4:4:4, and YCbCr 4:2:2 chroma subsampling modes. To optimize bandwidth usage and match the technical limits of downstream LED display controllers, the processing hardware supports switchable 8-bit or 10-bit deep color depths. Selecting the 10-bit configuration eliminates color banding artifacts on large displays, ensuring fluid gradients and flawless rendering of high-dynamic-range video content.
