The NovaStar CVT4K-S is a high-performance Fiber Converter designed for seamless conversion between optical and electrical signals. This device enables stable, long-distance signal transmission that is resistant to interference, making it an essential tool for professional LED display setups. By simplifying on-site wiring and providing a reliable connection for terminal devices, this Fiber Converter ensures efficient data flow across large-scale installations.
Robust Connectivity and Redundancy
This Fiber Converter features 16 Neutrik Ethernet inputs or outputs and four single-mode twin-core LC optical ports, with two ports serving as master links and the other two as backups. To guarantee uninterrupted operation in critical environments, the Fiber Converter is equipped with dual redundant power supplies. It supports a transmission rate of 9.95 Gb/s to 11.3 Gb/s over distances of up to 10 kilometers, utilizing a 1310 nm wavelength.
Flexible Control and User-Friendly Design
For maximum operational flexibility, the Fiber Converter offers two types of control ports—type-B USB and Ethernet—making it convenient to connect to a control computer. The front panel is designed with various indicators that clearly display the power, device status, and individual port connectivity at a glance. Additionally, this Fiber Converter satisfies diverse power requirements by offering both 3-pin and PowerCON power sockets, all housed in a standard 19-inch rack-mountable casing.
