The NovaStar CVT10-S is a high-performance Fiber Converter specifically engineered to convert optical signals to electrical signals for stable, long-distance data transmission in LED display systems. By utilizing a single-mode twin-core transmission mode, this Fiber Converter ensures a full-duplex and efficient data flow that remains highly resistant to external interference. It is an ideal solution for connecting a sending card to a remote LED display, providing a cost-effective way to maintain signal integrity over significant distances of up to 10 kilometres.
High-Bandwidth Connectivity and Redundancy
This Fiber Converter features two 10G optical ports with hot-swappable modules pre-installed at the factory, each supporting a massive bandwidth of up to 10 Gbit/s. To ensure maximum system reliability during critical events, the Fiber Converter utilizes a master and backup port design where OPT1 acts as the primary link and OPT2 serves as the dedicated backup. Additionally, it is equipped with ten Gigabit Ethernet ports, allowing for versatile signal distribution from fiber input to multiple Ethernet outputs.
Industrial Design and Flexible Installation
Designed for the rigours of professional environments, the CVT10-S Fiber Converter focuses on practical on-site installation with support for horizontal, rack-mounted, or suspended mounting. Its compact form factor allows two Fiber Converter units to be combined into a single 1U width assembly, optimizing space in equipment racks. The front panel is equipped with clear status indicators for power, operating mode, and individual port activity, providing users with immediate visual feedback on the device's performance.
