Efficient Long-Distance Signal Conversion

The NovaStar CVT10 is a specialized Fiber Converter designed to bridge the gap between optical and electrical signals in LED display systems. By converting video sources from a sending card for long-distance transmission, this Fiber Converter ensures a full-duplex, stable, and interference-resistant data stream. It is available in two distinct models—the CVT10-S for single-mode operations and the CVT10-M for multi-mode needs—offering a cost-effective solution for various professional installation requirements.

High-Bandwidth Connectivity and Redundancy

Equipped with two hot-swappable 10 Gbit/s optical ports, this Fiber Converter provides substantial bandwidth for high-resolution video data. It also features ten Gigabit Ethernet ports, facilitating flexible signal routing such as "fiber in and Ethernet out" or vice versa. Reliability is a core feature, as the Fiber Converter utilizes one optical port as a master (OPT1) while the other acts as a backup (OPT2), ensuring continuous operation even if a primary link fails.

Practical Hardware Design and Versatile Mounting

The CVT10 Fiber Converter is engineered for on-site convenience, supporting diverse installation methods including horizontal, suspended, or rack-mounted configurations. Its compact hardware design allows two units to be combined into a single 1U width assembly, maximizing rack space efficiency. Additionally, this Fiber Converter includes a series of front-panel indicators for power, operating status, and link activity, allowing users to monitor system health at a glance.
