Description

Secure Industrial Signal Isolation

The HL-4CC Contact Closure Fiber Converter is a high-performance fiber optic transmitter and receiver system engineered to extend four independent channels of forward, unidirectional signals . By incorporating advanced photoelectric isolation technology, the device guarantees the secure transmission of dry contact signals over long distances . This layout maintains total electrical isolation between terminal sites, providing maximum equipment protection against destructive electrical surges and ground loops . The system is built for robust industrial reliability, offering high stability in operational environments that experience significant electromagnetic interference .

Flexible Interface and Media Configuration

Designed to accommodate diverse deployment needs, the HL-4CC Contact Closure Fiber Converter handles voltage-free, non-charged dry contact switch signals, such as alarms, door triggers, or PLC switch states . The standard configuration operates in a normally open mode, though a normally closed mode can be provided via factory customization . For expanded network functionality, the system supports an optional 100M Ethernet configuration . It features single-mode and multi-mode fiber compatibility over a single-core optical fiber infrastructure, supporting a transmission distance of up to 500 meters over multi-mode fiber or a standard 20 KM over single-mode fiber that can be tailored up to 120 KM .

Streamlined Plug-and-Play Field Deployment

The HL-4CC Contact Closure Fiber Converter delivers an entirely hardware-based, plug-and-play solution that simplifies on-site installation by requiring no software setup, IP network configurations, or manual signal adjustments . To ensure correct routing from the trigger source to the terminal equipment, the system must be deployed as a matched pair consisting of a distinctly labeled transmitter (TX) and receiver (RX) unit . Field operators must position the transmitter unit at the trigger source and the receiver unit at the output device, making it an ideal choice for remote fire alarm triggering, industrial control signal extension, security gate management, and multi-channel relay control
