To preserve total signal integrity over long fiber runs, the HL-1P Telephone Fiber Converter features an integrated output clock recovery circuit that actively reduces signal jitter and corrects distorted signals. It also incorporates an input cable balance system capable of compensating for transmission losses up to 80 meters using standard high-grade coaxial cabling. Furthermore, an Automatic Power Control (APC) circuit stabilizes the optical output power to maintain a wide dynamic range, supporting un-relayed transmission distances up to 20 kilometers across both single-mode and multi-mode fiber infrastructure.

For advanced diagnostic demands, the system offers optional Pathological Signal Support, which synthesizes PLL, Equalizer, and SDI Matrix signals to monitor phase-locked loops and balance varying coaxial lengths for continuous transmission. The entire hardware set is completely plug-and-play, demanding zero software configuration, and uses integrated diagnostic LEDs so field operators can quickly track real-time device operation.
