Description
Analog Audio Encoder Overview
The Analog Audio Encoder is a professional-grade audio transmitter built on the Dante Ultimo solution, designed to bridge traditional analog signals with modern digital networks. It functions by encoding two channels of analog audio and transmitting them to a receiving end through a standard network using the Dante protocol. This compact device is housed in a durable black metal enclosure, making it a reliable choice for professional audio-over-IP installations.
Analog Audio Encoder Features
This Analog Audio Encoder offers exceptional versatility by supporting both balanced and unbalanced audio inputs through a 6-pin Phoenix connector. It provides high-fidelity sound with support for multiple audio sampling rates, including 44.1kHz, 48kHz, and 96kHz at a 24-bit depth. To ensure optimal signal levels for different sources, the unit features a 3-level gain adjustment switch, allowing users to select between +18dBu, 0dBu (default), and -10dBV.
Analog Audio Encoder Connectivity and Power
Managing the Analog Audio Encoder is efficient and streamlined through the Dante Controller software, which supports AES67 RTP audio transmission standards. For maximum installation flexibility, the device supports dual power options: it can be powered via a local DC 12V input or through Power over Ethernet (PoE Class 0). Real-time monitoring is facilitated by integrated LED indicators on the RJ45 port, which provide immediate visual feedback on the network link status and data transmission activity.
