The HDC-EDB50C is a professional-grade 18Gbps extender designed to transmit ultra-high-definition signals over long distances. It supports resolutions up to 4K2K@60Hz 4:4:4 and is fully compliant with HDMI 2.0 and HDCP 2.2 standards. Utilizing a single CAT6/7 cable, it can extend 4K60 signals up to 60m (197ft), or up to 50m (164ft) using CAT5e, ensuring high-performance video delivery without signal degradation.
Enhanced Signal and Control Features
This extender is equipped with a local HDMI Loop Out on the transmitter, allowing for easy monitoring or cascading of the video source. It supports advanced visual and audio formats, including HDR pass-through, Dolby Atmos, and DTS-X. For streamlined operation, the device features One-Way IR for remote source control and an Automatic EDID copy function, which ensures seamless compatibility between the source and the connected display.
Robust Design and Power Efficiency
Built for reliability, the system features a durable black metal enclosure and a compact form factor. It utilizes PoC (Power over Cable) technology, meaning only a single 12V DC power adapter is required to power both the transmitter and receiver units. With a low maximum power consumption of 3.84W, the HDC-EDB50C provides an efficient, plug-and-play solution for complex residential or commercial AV installations.
