It features 4 extended serial ports that support various modes, including RS-232, RS-422, and RS-485. With its integrated 100M Ethernet interface, the expander is fully compatible with professional third-party control systems like AMX, CRESTRON, and RTI, making it an ideal hub for complex AV environments.
Flexible Protocol Conversion and Data Handling
This device excels at protocol conversion, allowing for seamless data pass-through between serial ports and TCP/IP or UDP networks. It supports a wide range of baud rates (up to 115200) and provides large buffering space for each port to ensure stable data transmission. Whether acting as a TCP or UDP server, the HDP-CTL210 manages data queues efficiently, supporting frames up to 512 bytes for reliable communication across different hardware protocols.
Integrated Control and Robust Hardware
In addition to serial expansion, the unit includes 4 independent low-voltage relay ports for managing external equipment such as lighting or motorized curtains. Users can easily configure the system via a built-in Web server using any standard web browser on a PC or mobile device. Housed in a durable black metal enclosure, the device also features front-panel LED indicators that provide clear, real-time status for power and data activity.
