This 4×2 HDMI Matrix Switcher is a high-performance video distribution system designed to route any of four HDMI 2.0 sources to two independent HDMI displays. Supporting a full 18Gbps bandwidth, it handles resolutions up to 4K60 (4:4:4) while remaining compliant with HDCP 2.2, HDCP 1.4, and DVI 1.0 standards. To ensure maximum compatibility across different display types, each output features an individual scaler that can downscale 4K content to 1080p, making it ideal for mixed-resolution environments.
Advanced Audio and Signal Management
To enhance the user experience, the 4×2 HDMI Matrix Switcher includes sophisticated audio handling, featuring de-embedded analogue L+R and optical Tos Link outputs for both channels. It supports a wide array of high-definition audio formats, including Dolby True HD and DTS-HD Master Audio, and provides ARC decoding specifically through the Tos Link ports. Additionally, a built-in test pattern mode is available to help technicians verify signal integrity and troubleshoot display connections effectively.
Flexible Control and Automation
Management of the 4×2 HDMI Matrix Switcher is highly versatile, offering four distinct control methods: front panel buttons, an IR remote, RS-232 serial commands, and a dedicated Web GUI via LAN. For automated operations, the switcher can detect the first incoming video signal to power on displays or switch to the next available input if the current source is lost. It further supports intelligent power management through CEC, RS-232, or IR, allowing the matrix to automatically control the power state of connected display devices based on signal activity.
