3G-SDI EFP Fiber Optic Transmission System (Camera-Back Type)
As a dedicated 3G-SDI EFP Fiber Optic Transmission System (Camera-Back Type), the HL-EFP-3G-1 transmitter is designed to mount directly to professional cameras using a 1/4-inch hot shoe screw. The transmitter supports high-bandwidth 3G-SDI transmission and includes a local loop-out port, allowing camera operators to connect a local monitor for real-time framing and focus checks. This hardware is fully compatible with a wide range of SMPTE standards, including ST-424 (3G), and can even support higher bandwidths up to 12G-SDI for future-proof production workflows.
Signal Integrity and Modular Connectivity
To maintain superior performance, the system integrates automatic input cable equalization and output cable driver functions to preserve signal integrity over long coaxial runs. It features hot-swappable SFP optical modules, giving users the flexibility to change connector types between LC, ST, or FC and adjust for transmission distances ranging from the standard 10KM up to 80KM. The receiver unit (HL-EFP-3G-4) provides the final high-fidelity output for use in OB vans or control rooms, completing the high-performance signal path.
