Description
High-Performance Signal Extension and Distribution
This system is designed to extend high-definition signals up to 33,000 feet (10 km) over single-mode fiber cable while maintaining a full 18Gbps video bandwidth. It functions similarly to a high-end HDMI Splitter at the source side, as the transmitter features a local HDMI loop output. This allows the user to share high-definition video and audio with a local display while simultaneously transmitting the signal over long distances to a remote receiver.
Advanced Audio and Video Specifications
The device supports ultra-high-definition resolutions up to 4K2K@60Hz (4:4:4) and is fully compliant with HDMI 2.0b and HDCP 2.2 standards. It offers a versatile audio experience, supporting high-fidelity formats like LPCM 7.1CH, Dolby True HD, and DTS-HD Master Audio. Furthermore, it includes professional features such as audio embedding on the transmitter and audio extraction on the receiver, allowing the sound to be sent directly to external amplifiers or speakers.
Comprehensive Control and Integration
For seamless operation, the system supports bidirectional IR control and RS-232 signal pass-through, enabling users to manage source or display devices from either end of the connection. It also features intelligent EDID management with a dedicated DIP switch on the transmitter, offering multiple modes to ensure compatibility between different displays (pp. 3, 6). The units are housed in durable metal enclosures and include clear LED indicators for power, fiber connection status, and active HDMI signals.
