HDMI/USB HDBaseT Extender with USB: Overview and Signal Capacity
The HDMI/USB HDBaseT Extender with USB is a high-performance HDBaseT 3.0 distribution solution designed to extend uncompressed HD/UHD video and audio signals over long distances. It is fully HDMI 2.0b and HDCP 2.2 compliant, supporting a massive 18Gbps video bandwidth for resolutions up to 4K2K@60Hz (YUV 4:4:4). The system also allows for the pass-through of advanced HDR formats, including HDR10+ and Dolby Vision, alongside high-definition audio formats like DTS-HD Master Audio and Dolby True HD.
HDMI/USB HDBaseT Extender with USB: Transmission and Connectivity
A key feature of the HDMI/USB HDBaseT Extender with USB is its versatile transmission modes, allowing 4K signals to be extended up to 328ft (100m) using a single CAT6A/7 cable in Standard Mode. For longer distances, a Long Reach Mode (LRM) can extend 1080P signals up to 492ft (150m). The hardware includes a USB 2.0 Host port on the transmitter and two USB Device ports on both units, facilitating seamless KVM functionality for peripherals like keyboards, mice, or U-disks.
HDMI/USB HDBaseT Extender with USB: Power and Advanced Control
The HDMI/USB HDBaseT Extender with USB offers advanced management through an EDID DIP switch for precise resolution settings and bi-directional RS-232 and IR signal pass-through. To simplify professional installation, it supports bi-directional Power over Cable (POC), which allows a single 24V/1A power adapter at either the transmitter or receiver to power the entire system. Additionally, both units feature a 3.5mm analogy audio output port for convenient audio de-embedding.
