The HDMI Matrix is a professional-grade video transmission solution designed to route signals from eight different HDMI sources to eight HDTV displays (p. 3). For unique display setups, each output supports horizontal and vertical mirroring, and the device includes a built-in video wall function that can be configured in various layouts, such as 1x8 or 2x3.

Management of the HDMI Matrix is highly flexible, with support for four distinct control methods: front panel buttons, an included IR remote, RS-232 serial commands, and a comprehensive Web GUI (pp. 3, 5). It also features robust EDID management with 12 factory-defined settings and options to copy EDID from connected displays, ensuring optimal compatibility between sources and screens (pp. 11-12). The unit is housed in a compact 1U metal enclosure, making it suitable for standard professional rack installations.
