At the core of the 1-Channel Bidirectional 3G-SDI Fiber Optic Converter is the ability to handle one "Forward" and one "Reverse" SDI signal at the same time. The device supports a wide range of data rates from 270 Mbps to 2.97 Gbps, ensuring full compatibility with SMPTE424M, SMPTE292M, and SMPTE259M standards. This ensures that high-resolution video up to 1080p @60Hz is transmitted with zero signal loss, providing the reliability needed for critical live broadcast applications.
Signal Integrity and Long-Range Performance
To maintain broadcast-quality visuals over distances up to 20KM, the converter features an integrated output clock recovery circuit to eliminate jitter. It also includes an Automatic Power Control (APC) circuit to ensure constant optical output and input cable equalization that compensates for copper cable losses up to 80m. These technical indicators, combined with optional support for pathological patterns, ensure that the video remains stable even when dealing with complex broadcast test signals in demanding field conditions.
