Description
Advanced Connectivity and Protocol Conversion
The HDH-EXT100 is a versatile network serial port expander designed to facilitate communication between central control systems (or PCs) and multiple end devices. It excels at performing protocol conversion across various communication modes, supporting TCP/UDP protocols for network data and RS-232/RS-485 for serial output. This makes it an essential tool for integrating diverse hardware into a unified, programmable control environment.
Versatile Hardware Interface
Equipped with a robust set of physical connections, the device features a 100M adaptive Ethernet port with PoE support, a multiplexed RS-232/RS-485 port, and dedicated IR and GPIO ports. The GPIO can be configured for either input or output, while the IR port supports CCF code protocol forwarding. For easy monitoring, the front panel includes LED indicators that provide real-time status for power supply and serial data transmission/reception.
Flexible Management and Power
Designed for ease of use, the expander includes a built-in web server, allowing users to configure parameters or view system status through any standard mobile or desktop browser. It offers high reliability with dual power supply modes (12-24V DC or PoE) and a durable metal enclosure. Additionally, the device supports advanced customization via API commands, ensuring it can be tailored to the specific needs of complex professional AV or industrial setups.
